to get your first job at 20?

What you need to do is prove to the employers you interview with that you have experiences they can use. What ever it is you do that is valuable to an employer - list those as your experiences. Ie: volunteer work, sports, working well with others, office type of work like typing or faxing, handling people, accomplishing tasks, punctuality etc...

I think if you haven't worked before you are 20 you are either spoiled or lucky. I have been working since I was 16. Get a job and support yourself.

well not if you spent the beginning at school. You have to start somewhere right? at least you are getting a job now. Some people don't even do that much!

You are sooo lucky. Wish I were you. I am 27 and have been working since I was 15. I dont think its bad though. Kudos to you.

i dont believe so- some people dont have a need for working- im 19 and havent worked a day in my life yet except for school.

as you have never had to work before or as in you have to go to work now to support the family?
