Depending on the program it takes 5-7 years. You will need to get your Bachelor's Degree (usually 4 years) in a related science or health field (kinesiology, biology, athletic training, exercise physiology) and apply to graduate school for physical therapy (usually 3 years).

The only accredited school for PT in Utah is University of Utah (http://www.health.utah.edu/pt/ ). The full list of accredited school is at http://www.apta.org/AM/Template.cfm?section=PT_Programs&template=/aptaapps/accreditedschools/acc_schools_map.cfm&process=3&type=PT .
