Okay, well, both are of fire, the Pheonix is reborn of fire, and (determining on your technicalities on how you look at it) lives forever (because it is reborn of its own body) Dragons are kewl, but people always want to kill them like idiots, plus, pheonix's are faster and smaller, and equally as powerful, so yeah :P, plus, they're both magical but pheonix's tend to be shinyer *can't spell today*

A phoenix cause even though a dragon lives a long time phoenixs are reborn and never diefrom age. plus there awsome.

Phoenix because they are really cool and beautiful and also when they die, they are reborn from their ashes. i also like them because they can heal someone with their tears
