why do you think abortion should be ok?

i have to do a debate speech and i am for abortion. Help me!!

I believe that a woman has a right to choose. Unfortunately, I think too many people are turning to abortion and not giving the adoption option a fair shot. Therefore, I do think that some laws need to be put into place to stop women from using abortion as their form of birth control. (Such as the women who are having two or three abortions!) Please ladies, have your man bag it up!

Anyway, I think abortion is absolutely okay and justified in cases of rape, incest, or when the mother's life is in danger. These are situations where women DIDN'T get to choose and they need the opportunity to be able to.

You know, no matter what, the mom should never have an abortion!!! She shouldn't open her legs, if she wasn't going to take the responsibility......And if she got rape (I did, 4 times) and got pregnant, she should keep the baby or give it up for adoption....It wasn't the baby's fault, so why take it out on the baby??? As far as in, the woman got a choice and all of that junk....Yeah a WOMAN got a choice, they was WOMAN enough to spread their legs, they should be WOMAN enough, to take care of a baby, because being a WOMAN, you know you have a 50/50 chance of getting pregnant......How would you like it if your parent's didn't care for you and just aborted you for some stupid or no particular reason??? Think about it.........I think people who has an Abortion, should NEVER be able to have a BABY again or DIE HAVING ONE, along with the baby that they kill, because they was WRONG for having an ABORTION!!!! I think the DOCTORS who gives them an ABORTION, should get DEATH PENALTY 2!!!!!!!! I mean what is the difference, a hitch man kill someone because of someone wants them too, and A DOCTOR is killing a INNONCENT BABY which DOES NOT DESERVE TO DIE, and getting off scotch free, just because "THE WOMAN" doesn't want the baby!!! They have the same job pretty much, they both get paid for doing it, one gets caught and gets the death penalty, the other, nothing happens, because the friggin LAW allows that JUNK!!! ABORTION IS WRONG, PEOPLE, NO MATTER WHAT!!!! What did the baby do to get killed?????? NOTHING!!!!! It says in the BIBLE, DO NOT MURDER, and that is what an ABORTION IS!!!! So you are not following God's RULES!!!! Unplanned pregnancies are a fact of life. Making abortions illegal will not stop that and will not prevent women from having them. One of the strongest lobbies for legalized abortions was the medical community. When abortions were illegal women were being butchered. They went to unlicensed facilities and risk serious complications and even death. In a perfect world there wouldn't be a need for abortion. Personally I believe that more money needs to be spent on prevention and education. Abortion should not be used as birth control but it should remain a legal option for those that need it.

it really depends on the situation that not only the girl, but the guy as well are in.... i have a friend who was raped by her bf repeatedly, and ended up pregnant. she didnt want to have an abortion, but he ended up making her. so i dont think its right regardless of if u were raped. there are so many ppl out there who cant have kids who are dying to have one. even if they were in danger of dying, i still wouldnt think its right. if the baby and the mother is meant to survive, God's will, will happen anyway.
i guess that doesnt help ur side of the debate. but it gives u somethin to think about.
i guess makin abortion illegal would be worse, if girls are desperate enuff to have one they will do it illegally, by someone that doesnt know what their doing. and end up gettin real sick or even dying...so theres somethin u can use. i dont think it should be illegal for that reason, but i do think it should be thought out more by girls that have it done

Well I'm against abortion and I can tell you why it shouldnt be ok have you looked at the pictures?? have you seen what they do to those poor innocent babies? they reach in the uterus and tear off their arms and their legs and then crush their skulls and pull the pieces out or they shove scissors in the back of the skull at the base and then stick a vacuum attachment in and suck their brains out and crush the skull so it can be pulled out. ABORTION IS MURDER HOW CAN YOU SIT THERE AND SAY YOURE FOR IT
Adoption is the better choice abortion should be illegal except is extreme medical circumstances.

Rape-because if the woman was not given the choice to concieve, she should be given the opportunity to abort the baby. For example, take your average jane doe. She decides to have sex. She HAS the choice to use protection AND pull out AND use BC or even OBSTAIN from sex. A rape victim is not given any of these options. Maybe BC sometimes, but that's a hit and miss. Jane doe had every opportunity to prevent the pregnancy, but was just irresponsible, whereas the rape victim was acting responsibly. ....I am having trouble putting it into words, but I think you get my points......and if the pregnancy is threating mom, that is a good reason too-if mom dies, there will be no support system for the baby(to grow inside her)
