Is it normal? Well, it's not something all or even "most" married men do, if that's what you're asking.
Looking at pornography in any manner is definately dangerous in a committed relationship. I don't care what anyone out there says.... it simply IS dangerous.
Why would you want to look at porn for any other reason than to "get off".... ? Well, you wouldn't...
So, if you're getting off on pictures/videos of other men or wemon than your doing the same as committing adultry... IMHO
When someone says that it "does nothing for them" they're feeding you a bunch of ****....
It definately "does something" or it wouldn't be so dangerous or such a high dollar market...
Bottom line is to recognize that it can be very harmful to a relationship.... and you make the CHOICE to stay away from it...

If common is what you mean by "normal", yes, it is normal. But it is also addictive and ultimately destructive to a relationship.
And besides, who wants to be normal? Just take a look at the questions raised on this site. I've seen normal (what most people are like.) I don't want to have a normal life. I want it to be extrordinary. Don't you?

As long as they know the difference of looking at porn and talking to other women on porn sites!! Porn is ok but talking to women on sex sites is not!

My husband does it and I hate it!!! He tells me it's just a guy thing. We fought and fought over it and he wouldn't stop. He just doesn't see that it hurts my feelings. I felt like I was doing something wrong or that I wasn't attractive enough. Finally I had enough, we were getting nowhere. I knew he wouldn't stop so I just asked that he not do it while I was there and that it not affect our sex life. So far I've been able to deal with it. I try not to think about it. Honestly, I wish that my husband only wanted to look at me naked, but I guess that's just too much to ask! Men!?

If he looked at porn before than yes. But if he refuses to watch with you then no.

uhm... yes and no. If their wife does not enjoy or does not give sex yes! can u blame the poor guy? you married him and you should be taking care of his sexual needs....
and if he does look at porn it should be with his partner that's normal i guess.

Anything in excess is bad. My opinion is that as long as the relationship is in pretty good shape, it should do no harm. Some folks might want to do it together, may add spice, who knows? But is general, a little bit of it isn't harmful imho.

What's normal for one person, isn't normal for another. Some men need to be voyeurs and look at porn. If their wives object, though, they shouldn't do it out of respect for her. Husbands and wives should respect each other's feelings.

Yes. Men are visual creatures. Looking at porn is just harmless recreation. Better that than him running around with real, live other women.
