I'd like to look off the Palos Verdes penninsula, near Portugese Bend (southwest of L.A.), or perhaps down Telegraph Hill toward the San Francisco Bay.
For a European view, across Lake Lucerne in Switzerland.

p.s. the only water view I get right now is when 37th Street floods when it rains (at least 10 times a year).

My husband's grandmother had a house in Nebraska (where we're from) that was in the middle of nowhere. It was on a slight hill that looked out over the plains and just down the hill and across the road was a set of train tracks. There was nothing there except the plains and those tracks. I loved seeing and hearing the trains go by. That setting was perfect for me. I love the open plains of Nebraska. My dream is to someday have that view. Barring that, I'd love a view of any NASCAR super speedway!! :)

I would love to have a view of the Pacific Ocean, not in Southern California but on the Northern coast where it's cool and foggy!

Where I am sitting right now. I can look out my window from the computer and see the trees and different color leaves. I can see the squirrels running along our six foot fence and jumping in their favorite tree going back and forth with acorns.
