I think I did once but it was an accident.
I was young and having a sleep over. I was standing up watching the clock which moved forward several hours in what seemed like a blink.

Yes you can. According to the Guiness Book of Records, there was a man who lived his life for many years without sitting or laying down. I think he leaned against a cushion on the wall when he had to sleep!

I once dozed off in the shower. Very scary. That's a good way to get seriously injured.
Normally I can't fall asleep while standing. Once I managed to fall asleep in math class while sitting up completely straight. I don't know how I did it.

I can't, personally, but I used to work with a guy who had Narcolepsy (sleeping disease).
People with this condition fall asleep without warning, wherever they happen to be, and regardless of what they are doing.
I'm seen him fall asleep standing up, while operating a table saw, eating lunch, etc.

I can eat crackers while I'm half sleeping and half awake lol...I realize I did that the another night (weird) but yea if you can sleep walk then I'm sure someone can sleep while standing too....lol I haven't yet anyway....

YES YOU CAN. the guy that person was talking about on ripleys is true, he went to sleep in this harness thing that kept him from falling over but made it to where he couldnt lay or sit if he fell asleep.
so if you ever want to try it. just get one of those harness'
