LOL!!! i buy too much!!!! about $30 - $50 worth of candies/chocolates & i get no trick or treaters!!!! I live out in the country (recently moved) & i know we're not getting any kids. . . last year My bf & I lived in the city, we bought lots of candy & still didnt get any kids . . . we end up eating most of the candy & I give some to my nieces & nephew. 2 yrs ago, we did get some trick or treaters & we handed out handfuls of candy, i had to go out to the store & buy some more . . . lol!!!

I usually get way too much candy and end up giving out 3-4 candy bars to each kid...........I spend about $10-15 and we always have leftovers (hmm, maybe that's the point).

Me and my wife spend more than $100.00 we love to give candy to all the little kids on the block is a nice experience we buy:

Candy, toys, chips, crayons with there color books, pencils, stickers, popcorn we have allot of goodies is just once a year so we could afford it besides looking at all the little smiles from the Kids makes us happy!!!

I spend about 20.00 bucks Canadian and give each child 3 candies each. I usually get about 150 kids

Under $10. I bought a container of 35 pretzel bags($4.99) and 3 bags of chocolate(3 for $5)

About $5.00. We give each kid a candybar. They do not need a handful as they go to so many other houses as well.

We spent about 60 this year and I give each kid a handful. I never count, just give it to them

My max was $50.00. That all went and they still came for more. They come in groves here in Brooklyn. We had to put a sign on the door...."Went Trick or Treating"....
