"reasonable price" If you do some planning it's possible..Go Sunday through Thursday, weekend rates are twice as high..Do not go during major events/conventions. If you can go somewhere from the 10th of December up until the 22nd, you can take advantage of the lowest rates of the year..
Someone above mentioned the Orleans, and I agree, it's the best value in Las Vegas, BUT, they only have a small number of suites and they do want an arm, leg and a kidney for them! you can check them out on their site http://www.orleanscasino.com A nice thing about Orleans is, they do price match the best online price you can find..
OK, on to my suggestion for a nice romantic hotel/with a spa suite, that does not cost an arm and a leg...Luxor is running a special until the end of January on their rooms> promo code=(PDNY1) rooms from $59, it generally runs true that if a hotel is running a special on their rooms, you can get a good rate on an upgrade...The spa suits in the Luxor Pyramid are very nice, the tub isn't in the BR it's built up in the corner of the room next to the glass, they are very romantic IMHO..Add roses and champagne and you just might get lucky :) .
Caesars is my favorite hotel in Las Vegas.. Love their Palace Tower rooms, you can get the strip view(north) or overlook the pool..The Palace Tower rooms have oversized Jacuzzi tubs..If you can find a rate under $150, that would be a good deal...
The Venetian would be another great choice..The rooms there are incredible, as is the hotel itself...
This is a great site for Las Vegas info.
http://www.lasvegasadvisor.com under "VEGAS INFO" you can check out my suggestions under "casinos" . hotel info/reviews links to the hotels own site....

been there many times.i like the gold coast best my self. they have really nice suites. suites do not come cheap any where in Vegas. hubby and i love Vegas its a blast. however i would not call Vegas a romantic place to go. if i was you i would save a romantic get-a-way for another time.you spend so little time in your room i would not worry about getting a suite.

Check out Alexis Park Resort. It doesn't have a casino, but it's across the street from Hard Rock and about a 5 minute cab ride to MGM.
Very reasonable rates.

The Rio. All the rooms are suites, and they are really receptive to romance. There is also a new hotel not on the strip, pretty isolated, call the South Coast. It is really very nice and really, really reasonable. Maybe if you tell them it's your anniversary (lie a little :)), they may upgrade you to a suite.

Beautiful, scenic, tranquil, romantic. . .
But if you wanna stay closer to the action, you've many choices - Mandalay Bay and the Venetian - very romantic. You didn't mention when you're going. Visit my site.....
