nah not realy! thats why i bult my own to my own specification, for less than $500, including the 16x dual sli video cards, 4 gigs of ram, and redundant dual power supply and ups, and n-force mother board, and 64 bit 3.01 gbit amd processor. a dual function dvd, cd read write, a dvd read, and a cd read write, and 160 gig pata drive, and 200 gig sata. even with the 64 bit windows software being the most expensive part. and got all of the parts at micro center here in denver. although i used my old full tower case, and worthless floppy(like who ever uses the floppy disc any more), which would have been slightly over $500.

One thing you can do if

1) your tight for money
2) the box is NOT going to be on display

is drop the lighting, it doesn't add to performance, but will add cost.

Also I doubt you need the floppy drive for a modern gaming system.

Oh yea. I think so. That is a good deal. The ram is great and the CPU is fast enough to run games. I am sure you will have a great gaming computer there.

Not worth the grand. A good computer, but not worth the grand. Make it yourself. If you cant do that, then get someone to do that for you or just spend that grand on that computer.
