Anti-America grows in other countries because they envy how successful we have become. We are a beautifully set 1st World Country with more resources than any other country. We got nukes, bread on the table, and bird chirping. We got everything and they hate us for it.

Unfortunately another factor plays a role,w ell in my opinion. Because so many of our own Americans have become "Anti-American" this makes people wonder - if they hate their own country, it must not be any good. this anti americna bs that many people are proudly wearing on their shoudlers is nothing short than ignorance and trying to sound funny. sure many do not like the president but they have no right (even with freedom of speech) to go ahead and wear shirts that say not my president or even more obscene jestures. maybe i am a little old-fashioned but i feel that many Americans have lost the respect that once was demanded for.

The reason is demographics...

All over the world, particulorly in Europe, the birth rate among indigenous people of the euro continent are falling..To support the infrastructure and have employment where most euros did not want to work, they had an open door policy to the arab/muslim world ( who procreated like rabbits and will be the majority in many euro nations by 2020). The euro's are owned, and they know it..So any stand against a muslim issue is a death wish ( literally) for any politician..Hence, they feed into the propaganda to appease their powerful and (many times ) violent constiuency..

It’s the end of the world as we know it…
Someday soon, you might wake up to the call to prayer from a muezzin. Europeans already are.

And liberals will still tell you that "diversity is our strength"—while Talibanic enforcers cruise Greenwich Village burning books and barber shops, the Supreme Court decides sharia law doesn’t violate the "separation of church and state," and the Hollywood Left decides to give up on gay rights in favor of the much safer charms of polygamy.

If you think this can’t happen, you haven’t been paying attention. The future, belongs to the fecund and the confident. And the Islamists are both, while the West—wedded to a multiculturalism that undercuts its own confidence, a welfare state that nudges it toward sloth and self-indulgence, and a childlessness that consigns it to oblivion—is looking ever more like the ruins of a civilization.

Europe, is almost certainly a goner. The future, if the West has one, belongs to America alone—with maybe its cousins in brave Australia. But America can survive, prosper, and defend its freedom only if it continues to believe in itself, in the sturdier virtues of self-reliance (not government), in the centrality of family, and in the conviction that our country really is the world’s last best hope.

Contra the liberal cultural relativists, America should proclaim the obvious: we do have a better government, religion, and culture than our enemies, and we should spread America’s influence around the world—for our own sake as well as theirs.

If Carnegie is right 98%of Americans and the world as a whole are pretty much like children , only 2% are capable of being in business for them selves, and a lot less of them can ever be leaders, so lets consider the tough guy in school "not bully" some people may not like him but they will respect him ,even the bully's don't mess with him, America at one time was the tough guy but, they didn't bully others, therefore were respected, then they got weak and couldn't win a war against uneducated ,ignorant war lords in a gutless, nasty.Somalia, , Korea, viet, nam, now some ignorant Muslims , and do you know why ? our politicians are so stupid and ignorant they think they can run a war better than our generals who have the expertise and know how. and won't let our men fight to win, instead we are losing our best men for what ?so the rest of the world can laugh at us and say look at the big bully , He may bark but he won't bite,
so they have lost faith and respect for America and how can you like something you don't respect?when we get a good leader such as Pres, Reagan we will start kicking *** instead of kissing *** then and only then will people start liking and respecting us

Manie, the plural of country is counties, not county's.
You may be young enough not to know that the US's reputation abroad now stinks. It has gone to the dogs, gone downhill, however you want to say it. It will take years to recover.
It will improve when attitudes toward other countries change, when the US adopts a responsible position on environmental issues, fair trade with the third world, stops developing weapons of ever-greater mass destruction and generally stop being the "global bully".

ps I am not, repeat not, anti American towards it's people, I just hope Americans will not vote into power the same bunch of hooligans again.

America has been hated since it first became a world power (Economically, Militarily, and even more so culturally[McDonald's for all]). We have more people with more rights, freedoms, and opportunities than any other country, and we are not held back by our past we keep advancing.
Will it stop? Only if when America is in the dust heap of history or if the rest of the world catches up to us.

About 40 years ago, a book and a movie came out. Both were titled "The Ugly American." For as long as I have been aware, I have heard people in this country claim that Americans are not liked. First, it does not matter if anyone likes me. Second, I can think of millions who do like America. Count all of the legal and illegal immigrants who are not citizens. Then add all naturalized citizens. Are you getting close to 30 million. Then add in everyone who wants to come to the US, legally or illegally.

Don't worry about what other people think. It does not matter.

Why do some people care. What is it that we gain from other countries "liking" us. Do we like China...NO....do they have most favored nation status YES it makes no difference. AND if we did everything that these 2nd and 3rd rate countries did so that they would "like" us, they would come up with some other problem like, "oh that USA won't even stand up for itself, someone is always having to help them"...sorry...I like the view at the top and we need to stay here!!

Whatever happened it sure happened fast. After 9/11, almost the entire world was rallying behind us and the world has the least anti-American sediment in recent times. Then in 5 years that has reversed.

Because, people are so contempt with being misinformed and not checking their sources and the consequences of what they are doing unto others, only worried about winning their point or whinning. Hence they listen too much to political interest groups at home and oversea, they listen too much to antiamerican political interest groups.

I think it will stop, because in history no movement has proven to be forever.
