If you can only sit for 15 minutes that is fine. Get up, stretch, look out a window or tell someone they look good. Before I begin to study I wash my face and brush my teeth. This helps me feel refreshed. I will sit for about 30-45 minutes taking a very active role in my studying. sometimes I recite my notes aloud to myself, make flash cards or rewrite my notes. Sometimes I will even call a friend and talk about what is to be studied.
Also, study groups are fun and sexy.

Good Luck.

Work with your 15 minute time frame. Tell yourself that every 15 minutes you will take a short (1 - 5 minuted break) be sure that between breaks you really study. Also you may need to break down the time you spend studying. For example, if you typically study for 4 hours on Sunday try studying for 45 minutes on Sunday, 45 minutes on Wednesday, 45 minutes on Thursday, etc. You will probably find that you will learn more by breaking it up. Also improve the quality of your studying. Don't focus on memorization, try other techniques such as making up examples or telling stories. Finally, try study groups. If you keep them small, keep on task and everyone stays on topic they can be very helpful.

study for a while and take short breaks to stretch and relax a bit. try to make it more then 15 minutes. start small say "I will take a break in 20 min. then 25 and so on. If that does not work then some suggestions are no clocks in sight, if you need background noise use radio or tv on low volume of a station that you are not interested in.

Read and write. Writing will help you stay awake and it will help you retain what you learn.
