Have an old gold ring, its pretty filthy!!! Any suggestions as to how to bring it up good as new??? Has diamonds in it and behing them is clogged up wth gunk!!! Please help me!!!!

Fairy liquid on a toothbrush

Hot water with some washing up liquid. Soak untill you can stick your finger in it.Then get a old toothbrush and give it a nice scrub all over. Let it soak some more. Wipe or better polish dry with a cloth. Believe me it works!!

Try soaking in Coke over night then rinse with warm soapy water. Works every time

Gin - although a crying shame waste of a good drink, is a great diamond ring cleaner !

Put it in a glass of coke for a little while believe me it will shine when you take it out

Either wear it in the bath next time you have one, or leave it to soak in washing up liquid!
..works for me!!
