Read the following review of the Radeon 9550:

and make up your own mind. In my opinion, assuming the rest of your system is the correct spec to run the game, then this card will be fine for Battlefront 2.

the radeon 9550 is the next card up from the radeon 9250 and is the cheapest card from ati capable of running vista
the 9550 comes in 2 memory sizes 128mb and 256mb ddr ram,and has a pixel and shader model 2.0,this means it should run battlefront 2 with none or very little issues
if you are playing just the odd game the 9550 is a good choice as its quite cheap and has a silent heatsink construction, however this can cause problems if you want to overclock it,as its a sure bet you will probally fry it
the 9550 costs between £25-£35 for the 128mb model and £35-£49 for the 256mb model
another excellent card in the same price range is the nvidia ge-force 6200,this has a pixel and shader model of 3.0(i use this and can play doom3,quake 4,farcry,painkiller all on high settings and 1024x768 resolution with no problems..average frame rate for all games 50 to 60 f.p.s)
you can get the 6200 for £33 for the 128mb model and £45 for the 256mb model
tip: allways use the latest display drivers for your card, never use the boxed drivers as they can sometimes cause errors depending on your cards manufacturer and your motherboard, ect
radeon 9550 good card,excellent value,vista capable
good luck
