why do people want a college playoff system
If they have 4 teams in it. i see the 5th team/fans complaining.
if there are 6 or 8 teams. then 7th or 9th team complains.

Because it would be very rare to have 5 or more undefeated teams. Several times there are 3 though and then the computers decide who gets into a championship game.

Because with a playoff, there won't be so many teams with 1 loss records wondering why they're left out in the event of only 1 or 0 undefeated teams remaining at the end of the season. If you have 1 undefeated team and everybody else with schedules just as tough as the undefeated team, how are you going to rightfully debate the #2 ranked team? With a playoff, there's no doubt!

Because it is a playoff and the computer doesn't pick the top two teams. Maybe we can just let the computer pick the winner too!

Let's play a few games to see who is the best. The more the better but you also have to consider the length of schedule. I would like to see 8 teams play 3 weeks.

The more teams that have a shot at the National Championship, the less merit the left out teams have.

If i replaced into in fee, then i might take the consensus precise 8 communities after the bowl video games have been over and function #a million play #8, # 2 play #7, #3 play #6, #4 play #5. Then the 4 communities that gained might play lower back with the optimal ranked group playing the backside ranked group. Then the appropriate 2 communities might play for the national championship. All bowl video games might nonetheless be performed, and the conventional season does no longer must be shortened. A soccer playoff equipment can't be as huge as a basketball playoff, and it is going to no longer be because of the fact which you could basically play one activity each week. there is no ought to desert the classic bowl format the two. If something the bowl video games might grow to be extra significant because of the fact that a win ought to get you into the playoffs and an extensive loss might no longer be deadly. those are my concepts in any case.

That is why I think there should be a 16 team playoff system picking the top 16 and seeding them with a committe like in the Final Four. Then the rest of the teams continue to play pointless bowl games.

Buckeye fans are the only ones that don't want a playoff. I'm sure your thoughts on this would have been different last year.

By your logic, we also need to determine the NCAA Basketball Champs by poll also. I'm sure that 66th team isn't real happy either.
