Here is the deal: I am being Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz. I have my cousins dog to use as Toto, but the problem is I have no red shoes. We went to the store a few days ago for the shoe- covers, but they had no more left. The shoes I have are pink, and they are my favorite. I don't want to ruin them in anyway (which means I want to have them pink again by tomorrow!), but I do want to make me red. How can I?

Get cheap shoes (on sale or clearence) or go to a thrift store. You can spray paint them red & cover them with red glitter - might want to use a blow dryer to make them dry in time. Or just cover them in glue & add red glitter.

Go to the local sewing store. They have glue dots that should come right off when you want them to. Stick large red "jewels" on the shoes with the glue dots. They should come off and leave the pretty pink shoes pink!

I needed sparkly pink shoes one year and used white gym shoes. I painted them pink (you would use red) then use spray glue to put on matching glitter. The worked great and were real comfortable.
