My computer has 849MHz and only 128 MB RAM, but I have windows XP. I want to know which anti-virus is the least RAM hungry as I don't want my computer to be sluggish. I tried installing Norton's internet security, but it makes my computer so sluggish! I am using Windows XP's own firewall.

Any ideas would be great. Thanks.

Norton is the best. But for the comp not to be sluggish, u need more RAM. XP alone is bogging u down. 128 was ment for 98 but all new XP comps have at LEAST 512. I would suggest upgrading ur RAM.

with the specification of your computer, i suggest you once to go back and use windows me or windows 98se,
second, you can try bitdenfer or karspersky, these two anti-virus softwares consume less memory than others

Trend Micro PC-CILLIN.

Get the best version of it. All other companies have various glitches and "side-codes" that do strange things to your computer. This one is good.
