why students use (in India)blue ink pen for writing purposes?
why they are not using red , green etc. ink pens?

Well I use blue because teachers don't allow us to use anythingn besides blue and black, and I like blue because then you can tell the difference on a worksheet from what you wrote and what was already there easier, plus I like the color better.

Blue ink and black ink are considered "Official". You can sign checks and official documents with either colors. So, I guess, just because they are used so much, people are used to them and blue is easily discenible in a book (if you take notes) from the print.

I dont live in india. i am from the US, but here the teachers rather perfer if you write in blue or black because it is easier to read. Oh, some people are color blind so they might not be able to read red or green ink.

many teachers won't allow you to use any other color ink except blue or black. many of them say that blue and black ink are the only colors that they can read. i think its retarded but i guess they dont. so maybe that's why students in india use blue ink instead of colorful ones.

Well, I don't know about India, but I'm a high schooler in the US, and most of my teachers don't allow us to write in anything but blue or black, and since we already have those pens, thats mostly what we write in for everything! =)
but ya know i'm juss guessing!

well itz more like norm dat is follwd in india dat studntz shld use black or blue pens n red is 4 d teachers!!! well i thnk using blue pen gives a formal sense of writng!!!!

Nice question! It is not going on from thousands of years, since it proved that this color is make people creative through eyes. So it preferred to the students.

Some school require you to write in blue for legal purposes.
As most print is black, the blue will show./stand out.
And be original work.

actually red pens is generally used by teachers.
and green pens does not look good on white paper.
and one more ,black can also be used ,but blue looks good .
