I don't see any point in the government recognizing ANY marriages. Why should Uncle Sam care one way or the other who any of us make personal commitments to.
Sick of the "marriage tax?" Sick of the "single tax?" Ask your politicians to abolish government recognition of ALL marriage.

I honestly don't see why it is such a big deal.
If 2 homosexuals want to get married, then so be it.
It's none of my buisiness & it's not like it's affecting ANYBODY else.
How is allowing 2 people that genuinely LOVE each other to get married, destroying the "Sanctity of Marriage"?
The only thing destroying the "Sanctity of Marrigage" are all these straight people that get married & divorced again every 2 seconds like it doesn't even matter.
These conservatives need to get over themselves & understand that other people have rights, too.

I don't understand what the fuss is about. If two human beings of the same gender who love each other want to get married and start a family, what's the harm in that? I know Christians are against gays, but isn't there supposed to be a separation of church and state? I think same-sex marriage should be allowed, because it's hypocritical for America to lecture other countries about freedom when we don't give homosexuals the same rights as everyone else.

I think it should be allowed for one it should be no bodies business but the persons own on who they marry, it not like it's really hurting anyone. on the contrary it is helping the one involved. gay people deserve the same rights and privilege's as anyone else. Especially if they are in a committed relationship. they have to be able to care for one another, financially, and in time of an emergency, anything and everything that marriage entails. I think that other people need to stick there noses into there own business and not in others. hell ya let them marry if they want too.

personally I don't think it is anyone's business to judge anyone and their choice of lifestyles. Noone has the right to judge anyone weather they are gay males, gay females, white, black, brown, pink, blue, green whatever noone has the right to judge anyone by their life stlyes or the color of their skin. Love is LOVE, RATHER THE PERSON IS OF THE SAME SEX OR THE OPPOSITE SEX! If one loves someone then who are we to say they cannot live their lives together for eternity as opposite sex couples can do. We are talking about HUMAN BEINGS! Anyone can have a thought of disgust, or no thought about it, doesn't matter each way, but it is not necessary to speak them. THEY ARE THOUGHTS. Whatever makes a person happy will make the world a little less complicated. And those with negative thoughts, if only they can keep their thoughts to themselves we would have an even more less complicated world. People who like drama are hard to change or please.
AND TO THOSE WHO REFER TO THOSE OF THE GAY POPULATION AS DOGS / ANIMALS YOU ARE SO WRONG FOR SAYING THAT. JUST BECAUSE THEY ARE GAY DOESN'T MAKE THEM A LESSER PERSON THAN WE ARE. IF THIS WORLD WAS ALL THE SAME AND ACTED ALL THE SAME, THEN WE WOULD HAVE A BORING LIFE.
