I never let my biggest passions die. They may fade into the back of my heart for a while, but they never die. I've wanted to be an archaeologist since I was eleven, and I'm still working on that one. Someday.....

I agree with Blue on this one. Some passions may fade off into the sunset for newer feats you wish to address. But they are always in the back of you mind and could come up again in the future.

It depends. Generally, they go when they are complitely consumed and turned into habbit.
Its a different question if love is not consumed. Then you can linger with this faint affection for the person in the back of your mind even your whole life.
