visiting charlotte this weekend wanted to know what to do...also thinking about moving can you tell me a bit about the different neighbors in and surrounding charlotte

I LIVE IN CHARLOTTE, ACTUALLY IT'S NOT A BAD PLACE TO LIVE I DON'T THINK, NOT TOO MANY BAD NEIGHBORHOODS, THE BAD THING, IT'S A LITTLE PRICEY LIVING HERE BECAUSE IT'S THE SECOND BIGGEST BANKING CITY SO IF YOU WANT A NICE APARTMENT, EXPECT TO PAY AT THE MINIMUM $500 A MONTH. YEA THERE'S CAROWINDS, BUT IT'S CLOSED NOW, NO BEACHES AROUND AND STILL A COUPLE HOURS AWAY FROM THE MOUNTAINS IF YOU ARE INTO THAT. IF YOU ARE INTO NIGHT LIFE, THERE ARE A LOT OF CLUBS AND BARS, THE BAD THING THEY STOP SELLING ALCOHOL TOO EARLY, 2:00 AM. THEY ARE MAKING A LOT OF AREAS REALLY EXPAND HERE TOO SO WITHIN THE NEXT 5 TO 10 YEARS I SEE THIS PLACE DOUBLING IN SIZE. THE TRAFFIC REALLY SUCKS HERE RIGHT NOW THOUGH, THEY DO CONSTRUCTION EVERYWHERE AND DURING THE DAY, MOSTLY BECAUSE THEY ARE BUILDING A LIGHT RAIL HERE. THERE'S NOT MUCH SURROUNDING CHARLOTTE EITHER, IT'S SURROUNDED BY A BUNCH OF NOTHING PRETTY MUCH. I LIKE IT HERE THOUGH BECAUSE I GREW UP IN A REALLY SMALL TOWN AND NEVER GOT OUT OF THERE SO BEING SOMEWHERE THAT THERE IS THINGS TO DO, I'M GONNA LIKE IT, BUT A LOT OF PEOPLE REALLY DON'T LIKE IT HERE.

Paramount's Carowind the amusment park but that's all I could really think of to do in Charlotte it's kind of a boring place.

moving to charlotte sounds dangerous. from what ive heard from friends that have lived there it is not a safe place to live.
