Re. suggestions for other ones -- they have to be insanely warm, though. Looks are secondary. Which is why I included the 'comfort ranges' -- seems the uglier the coat, the warmer it is.

Okay, little miss "Those coats are ok if you're above the age of 50." When you're out of your early teens, you feel (and look) _much_ stupider wearing something that's not warm enough, no matter what your coat looks like. You meant "those coats are all fine if you're planning on spending time in semi-rural Canada." HTH!
To the rest of you: okay, okay; the Eddie Bauer one, I get it. Of course the least warm would be the best looking. Sigh...
