Tomorrow's my nephew's birthday, he'll be six. When I asked what kind of toy he wanted he told me Scooby Doo toys. But for the past few weeks he's been obsessed with Pokemon and whenever he comes over he always plays with my brother's old Pokemon toys (he has none of his own).

Should I get him Scooby Doo liked he asked for or should I get him Pokemon toys? He tends to change his mind pretty frequently.

I'd go with Pokemon. He's probably told most people he wants Scooby Doo things and he may get plenty from others. You can always offer to make a day of taking him to the toy store and a special lunch or desert. Gift cards are great too, but some think unpersonal.

Depends when you asked him the question. If he said he wanted something Scooby Doo recently, consider that option. Or, if you think that Pokemon is the best thing to do, go with that one. But personally, I think you should get him something different. Get him something undustrious like Legos or something. Or, if he's not an industrious person get him something like a remote control car! You can never go wrong with that! Heck, I'm a girl, 14, and I still like remote control cars. Or better yet, get him a gift card and let him pick out what he wants.

Get him something different. Target carries a big variety of fun things. Like a bug catcher and microscope. Or a rocket that shoots 200 feet into the air.

Can't go wrong with a remote control car.
