I almost died and I was very aware. I could feel the pain until it went dead, and could hear, even when I couldn't talk, before they brought me back. I didn't feel myself leaving my body as some people claim, just my body closing down around the small center that was left I could feel. I talked to someone that was in a coma for a week. The only thing he remembered was what went on before as if he went to sleep. I guess it would depend how the person went.

I believe that unless it's an accident where they die instantly, people do realize they are dying. Most even see a relative from the Other Side who is there to lead them. And when they die they know they are on the Other Side in the pure love of the Holy Spirit.

I think people are very much aware that they are dying, especially if it takes a while. All I know is that I'll be happy to be seeing Jesus.....

I think they are aware they are dying. It reminds me of the "nesting syndrome" performed by women directly before their babies are born.

i think yes, they must be aware they are dying but i dont know what are they thinking, i am not in that situation yet.
