i am doing a persuasive speech tomorrow as to why i think fish make the greatest pets. they are a low maintainace and low cost pet. do you guys think this is a good speech topic?

if you convince your audience yes. start by telling them something they don't know --like "fish never sleep" most people don't know and it is a fact. also -- yes, they are good pets -- to look at -- easy to take care of, less costly etc. no need of a vet...transportable easily -- they can live almost anywhere provided there is water...etc..etc.i think it is a good subject -- treat it...with a sense of humor too..good speech and good luck too. (bring a bowl of fish to make your point) just a small one..with one fish inside

A good persuasive speech needs the speaker to believe in what he/she is speaking about. The audience can see write through a phony and can spot unsurety a mile away. What do you think about fish and best pets. We can't tell you what you think, and to make a good grade you need to believe that fish make the best pets. Go from there or if not, find a different topic that you do believe in and not what the online community believes in. Alot of times a persuasive speech has to something like, OMG, persuade. In the future, you might want to pick a more controversial topic that people might disagree with you on a bigger scale. But fish is a good starter. Have fun.

sorry fish don't make the best pet they are high maintainace. Fish tank, Food, the rock , the filter cost $$. Also changing the water making sure its clean, making use the filter is not clogged, putting the right chemicals to keep the water clean and fish healthy. Feeding them not enough or to much and then after all that they die.

I believe in that, you dont have to take them for walks and injections and give them attention and they arent noisy and dont keep you up at night. Fish are the best pets

talk about how easy it is to take care of fish and how good they are for kids cuz they don't bite, poop on the rug or track dirt through the house!!!
