how do i make friends with people i already know?

i am in this class where no one talks to me. we are supposed to do group project but last time i did it by myself. i want to have people to talk to but we have already been in this class for awhile and everyone is in their cliches. can i start talking to one of them without seeming weird?

a guy i like and kinda stopped talking to all the sudden is in there and most of the people are his friends so they kinda avoid me

Find some commonality between yourself and the group, or just an individual. And MAKE EYE CONTACT!!! It's hard, as you've guessed already, due to the cliques already formed, and you may have to make several SUCCESSFUL attempts, mind you, to break in. Is there another group project coming up? Perhaps you can suggest working together. Remember, you've already positioned yourself as the "outcast" by doing the group project alone - now everyone perceives you as outside of themselves. You need to work on INCLUDING yourself. Make a comment on an outfit - "Cool shoes!" - or ask them for an opinion on an assignment or similar. Good luck - and remember, above all, BE YOURSELF!! (they'll see through it you don't, and you'll never respect yourself otherwise!)

lol, i do it all the time in classes. If u dont wanna make it sound weird, ask a question relateing to class or what they are talking about. Dont think that starting up a conversation with someone is weird! Def. dont take the whole work load and do it yourself. Their reactions may differ depending on the ages of your classmates.

absolutely... start up a conversation with whomever is sitting next to you- it could be something about the last class... if you start with something related to the class, it won't be weird at all.. and once you've started a conversation, you can move on to other topics...

well next time you should ask for Ideas even if you dont need it,,, or try to take turns with the project at some ones house ,,,
