Christmas would have to be my favorite. I love the fellowship the season offers. There's such a feeling of togetherness that comes with the season, a feeling of openness. Plus, I love the scenery. The snow is beginning to fall, people get all bundled up. It's a great time just to have some together time with family, friends, or maybe even a relative you don't know that well. It also feels safer than Halloween. There are lots of dark things that surround Halloween while Christmas is a time of happiness and giving.

I am a Christmas nut,I love all the decorations and giving gifts from my heart, this year I am putting together several scrapbooks for my son and 2 grandaughters, nothing better then a homemade present,I started the first book last week,it is a lot of work, but,my son and wife will love it,I am thinking about getting the Christmas decorations out a bit early for my 2 grandbabies, they are what makes Christmas so special for me now that I am 46!

Halloween. People don't feel obligated to spend time with people they don't actually like or know. And at halloween, you get to pretend to be something you are not the other 364 days (kinda like christmas) but at least on halloween when you're doing it, it's ok that everyone -knows- you're being fake, unlike christmas when you hope nobody knows you are. And halloween because it's WAY more creative than christmas.
Don't get me wrong, I love christmas, WHEN the reasons it is celebrated are celebrated, instead of santa and snowmen and trees and reindeer. I just like halloween more because it is more honest and fun.

I love this time of year, from Halloween until New Years. So festive and so much celebration with family and friends. Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas are my favorite holidays and I enjoy each one in its own way.
