Let me help you: "Why are married people always fighting?"

When I got married the preacher told us the 3 most common marital problems are:
1. Money
2. Children/Parenting -- disagreements on child rearing
3. Sex

Honestly my husband and I rarely fight. Usually it's outside stress (from work typically) eating at one of us and we finally snap and take it out on one another. Tension -- married couples sometimes need a little time away from one another for a healthy relationship.

Not all married people are always fighting. However some of the reasons are there is more responsibility in marriage then in other relationships. You are held accountable for your actions by your spouse. Things become ours instead of mine & yours. People often take out there own trials/insecurities on there spouse, it's not right but that is what happens. Raising children (sometimes you different ideas about how it should be done, what acceptable what’s not acceptable.) Marriage is work, and it's hard work, but it's also very rewarding. When both people are working together to make the others life easier, there is much less friction, and much more love.

Not all married people fight each other. We've been married for almost fifty-three years and have never raised our voice to each other, and absolutely never use profanity to each other or anyone else.
My next door neighbors are the same, except they've been married for over sixty years. I was a better hold-out.
A few houses down the street, my friend Jack and his wife lived 'till Jack died. They were married for almost sixty years, and never fought.
So, you see. Some fight all the time, but there are a lot out there who never even disagree, let alone fight.

It's not just married people. Everyone fights at some point in their life. Like you fight with your parents or your siblings. For them, sometimes fighting is just their way of sorting things out.
