My daughter is a beautiful, well-dressed, successful young lady...but...in her personal life she uses so many cuss words it's pathetic. In her workplace she displays an envious ability to articulate. Her friends are the same way except when they're around me...any suggestions to help this misguided diva clean up her act?

Well we all females that is have many sides to us, we act one way towards some and other ways to others, my mom always tells me in her home its her rules and if I can not obey them then I do not get to talk with her, she ignores me when I cuss, and it does work I respect my mom and her rules, so what I would suggest is ignore it and let her know why you will be doing this as well, tell her your rules and leave it at that.

The first question is that "Does she still live at home with you?" If the answer is "yes," then what worked for me that made me stop by my family is, my mother charged me $1.00 - 5.00 a cuss word until I stopped. Let me tell you it sure worked!! You said she has a job. Just like work no one likes to hear a cuss bucket. Start charging her or else if her language doesn't stop then she can find her own place and move, because that language is not acceptable in this house. It offends you and hurts you and the family, she may have younger siblings and she should be an example towards them. She wouldn't want them to say what she is saying, would she? She should understand that not many men like women who cuss they think that they are stupid, most men like women who are smart like you say she is but clean, if she wants to snag a nice guy.

It might be kind of late now. If you're big and tough enough you could do the proverbial soap in the mouth routine, but it might not work since she is so big and grown.

Seriously, how about taking her to a Bible believing church and pray for Jesus to change her life? He took all the bad words out of Col. Sanders' (KFC) mouth after a few doses of church. He could change your daughter too.

Does she live in your home? If she does, you can also lay down the law that such foul language isn't allowed in your home and don't tolerate it when she does it.

Well is what I would do is............
1.Do you cuss if so STOP!
2.Every time she does cuss say "What!" or " you need to change that language."
3.If she does not, you take charge and make her. Like......ground her or stuff like that.

That is what I have to do so don't fell alone.
