My period was due on the 27th of this month. So do I count from the 27th or the 28th. if I count from the 28th than I'm 4 days late right?

You are four days late. You would be not late at all if you had your period on the 27th, one day late on the 28th, two days on the 29th, three days on the 30th, and four days late today, on the 31st. For gestational age, you count from the first day of your last period, so that is how you figure out how many days/weeks pregnant you are if you are, in fact, pregnant.

Yes you are right, but my doctor told me to wait 8-10 days after my missed period to take a test...I waited 5 and it came out negative, I waited 7 and it was still negative, I went to a free clinic and took a test over there when I was 9 days late, and it was positive, I still had a hard time believing that I was, and went to the hospital and sure enough, it was POSITIVE!!! Yes, but this is only important if you are very regular.
Several factors can affect this including stress and having another female move into the same living space (believe it or not, most women in the same house wind up having their periods at or near the same time -- go figure)
Go ahead and take a test, but remember -- a negative result means "maybe" but a positive result is always positive.

if ur due on the 27 then count for there so u are 4 or 5 days late
buy a pregnancy test and find out if ur pregnant or not!!

yes you are 4 days late, take a test, it could be stress and many other things. A home pregnancy test will be very accurate right now. Good luck with whatever you want the outcome to be!!!

yes you are 4 days late. If you take a home pregnancy test, it should work correctly. Mine showed positive after I was 3 days late.
