I get my period once a year.

theres nothing abnormal about that. but if it usually isn't, i would get it checked out. especially if its more than three days.

Mine are always heavy the first 2 - 4 days, then it's nothing more than a drip, drip drip until it finally ends on the 5 - 7 days.

yes it can be. Why do you only get your period once a year?? That doesn't sound very good. Might want to see your gyn

yes it can last up to 7 days, but if theres a strange color, and longer then 7 days, go see a doc

It can be. Mine used to be very heavy for five or six. Everyone's different.

if you only get it once a year i would expect a heavy one...why only once a year?
