The things they say are ridiculous. It's not about Devil worship. It's about kids (and adults) just dressing up and having fun. I can't understand this. But then again, my parents weren't religious fanatics so I guess it's just hard for me to understand.

Halloween was suppose to be the day that the dead could walk the Earth and we dressed up to fool them into thinking that we were one of them. Well thats one of the stories I have heard. Now (to me anyway) it is a day when kids and adults (and even pets) can dress up and have a good time. We get to see everyone's creative side and who can say no to FREEEE candy?? To the people that do not like this holiday I say that there inner child has died and needs to be brought back to life.

People get uptight and mean because they are uneducated or close minded about the true events that take place on Halloween. I'm sure somewhere there is some satanic stuff going down, but stuff like that happens every day right? :) I'm with you pal...just some kids getting some free candy. Happy Halloween!

every holiday that I can imagine has become twisted and commercialized. Think of Christmas.....celebrating the birth of Christ or getting PRESENTS FROM SANTA!!! WHOOO HOOO the Easter Bunny, Valentines Cards and flowers and oh oh don't forget all the yummy yums for Thanksgiving!
Its all gone to the kids doesn't matter what holiday it is...people should just relax and enjoy it, but hopefully not get too caught up in it....(check out my Halloween question!)

There are so many variations of why we celebrate Halloween combined with the fact that you always see costumes/decorations that are death related that so many people have come to think that it is satanic which makes them uncomfortable. The best defense against this- education!

I am not uptight just busy studying for my midterms tomorrow ok. Haloween sucks for me because while everyone is parying out side, i'm home alone and always turns out to be midterm week. NOT FAIR!!!
