Verizon. Excellent network. Tried their WIFI service (testing) from Chicago to Kenosha, WI. Had service almost the whole way up. Impressive.

The hard thing when comparing carriers is coverage. Then, split your coverage into post-paid and pre-paid areas. Then, splrit your coverage into native coverage, affiliate coverage and roaming coverage -- all with possibly different swaths of non-voice offerings like high-speed data -- no wonder customers are constantly confused. Since there is no apples-to-apples when it comes to coverage -- everyone having native coverage and unintelligibly color-coded roaming coverage --
