God is the Creator of love,of all things, including Satan...so why should man be afraid of anything in this world but the Man Above?Your question tells me you are a wise person,so i'll be for reals that God is love.Love isn't an emotion,it's actions...for example, when I do something nice to somebody I THEN feel joyful and useful, but because I loved.Sometimes people don't know what love is about and blames love for their despair on not finding completeness and a sense of being loved, but sometimes WE have to love first in order to be loved, and that is all we can do as God's Creation, but really I believe we are all brothers and sisters, and I am only human and make mistakes, but with love I am forgiven and my errors are erased,in this world we will be hated through people's actions, but all that matters is that God Loves Me,and if God the Creator of my soul, mind, body, heart loves me....I know I'ma be alright...MANY times people seek man to answer questions about God,but sometimes you just have to ask Him yourself, and he will answer because he Loves you....

I don't think it's an equation. Rather, God Himself generates Love, so no equation is necessary. The interesting thing I have noticed, is that if you study and practice love, you feel more of it and hence are able to radiate it yourself. Christ's love, being unconditional and all-encompassing as well, is like God's love. I believe the ultimate expression of love is to lay down your life for the sake of others, but most of us are only called on to build character daily by trying to serve and support others. Guess we can all work on that. Since your question is in philosophy, I would say that it is possible to have love even without having obvious philosophical overtones, as pets and young children understand love without language or mental gymnastics. Have a happy day.

If God is greater than Love, God is Hatred.
If Love is greater than God, Love is Hatred.

Is God greater than love huh? Well, God seems to be the standard for love. Love can't be greater than him, because he embodies the character of love. But if he is embodying that character, than love is just a piece and therefore he must be greater.
Its kinda like saying God is Love, but Love is not Got. Anyways, just my thought.

Love, alone, is just as bad as hate. Love, alone, turns into hate because the nature's balance treats an excess of love with an excess of hate. So an ultimate act of love would be, in the end, an ultimate act of hate. God is "love" because God is nature/the universe and keeps the balance going. God balances both love and hate equally. So please don't be so focused on love, or just imagine how much hate you will ultimately spread. Life is about balance, neither love or hate. I guess then, logically, one obsessed with love must be trying to cover up some big hate. Open your eyes, the world is not a love fest, and it is not a hate fest either. Again, please find balance.

I dont think that love would be existant if it weren't for God, but personal experience shows that when you are in love, i believe it is at least equal, if not, greater than God. Love and God are both things that can't physically be proven, they are both just ideas that fit into our minds, and we need to believe them within ourselves. I sometimes wonder.... "if God exists, then why does love hurt?"- I believe in God, but I also believe in Love- and neither of them have proven to show me a way to eternal happiness, which is my ultimate goal in life.

The Bible states that God "is" Love... therefore, I think it would be wrong to think of God without considering the Love that He is.
If you believe what you read in the Bible, then you cannot separate God from Love. God created Love, like he created us... Love was a part of Him before we ever experienced it.
