My father provides the transportation. We leave at 6 pm to get there by 8 pm. My friend & I discovered this remote cemetary during the summer. It has approx, 100 graves, some dating back to the 1800's & 1900's. Its on private property. A caretaker watches over it. We signed papers stating we would not descrate the grounds. He won't be there as he said strange things have happened on a Friday the 13th in the past. As for Halloween, he never saw this one couple who stayed the night. Later, he discovered they were in a hospital undergoing an evaluation for their sanity. After that, who knows! We will take plenty of protection with us just in case! We have a CD on exercism, plus a CD of a Dracula impersonator who sounds exactly like Bela Lugosi telling everyone these two belong to him and other tidbits to excite those who dare mess with us! How should we approach this night? Keep an open mind and enjoy ourselves or convince ourselves what we hear (or see) is in our mind and not real?

Our friends think we are crazy! If we make it through the night and arrive home safely, we plan to have our hair dyed white to signify we saw a ghost or whatever and it scaried us to the point that our hair turned white from fright! Then, the next day (Thursday) we'll dye our hair back to our original color. Good way to be popular at school, isn't it?

I wouldn't worry~ the dead aren't going to harm you , and I would actually be surprised if you saw anything. But remember the mind is a powerful tool and it can make you hear and see things that aren't there... Have fun and Happy Halloween!

p.s. let me know if you see anything

Go in with an open mind, you never know what you may find.
Just like there are evil people in the world, there are evil spirits.
I don't believe in luck, or protective chants, or magic circles of protection. " Enter at your own risk.
Did you ever wonder why ghosts only come out at night, i mean do they know what time it is. Ever wonder why ghosts haunt places like cemetery's, insane asylum, prisons, you know places that most ppl are afraid of any way. when you are scared your senses are heightened and you may hear things that you normally wouldn't. I was a nurse and worked in a county hospital psychiatric unit. I worked primarily with patients that were on their death bed. I would sit with them until it was over. I do believe in spirits and have seen them and felt them. I am just skeptical of what you see on TV. I believe that you are lucky to encounter a spirit, it is a once in a life time thing.
Good luck.

Halloween is,
The festival that all devils offends,
celebrated he should not be,
the deads deserve respect,
and by them a feast one must do.

2 of November,Dia de los muertos

Of the Calaca nobody is saved,
I have come for his souls, this day,
2 of November is my day
I want to see you in the graveyard,

I come for canijos of Yahoo Answers,
the ones that always + 2 answer,
and to the ones that the bad knack they show,
to politics and strikers, to religious and racist

Two of November, is my day,
and is the day in which the souls visit,
all beloved familiars and others, your
gonna be the next who dead, and a cold stone on you remained.

The death is the solution of your problems,
you do not give death to you, at any moment I arrive,
I carry your soul al panteon to rest and of your conflicts to forget,
but all has price, you can't love, anymore
to be a soul in grief, and by your acts punished to be,

Be afraid, that I the death have arrived,
Do not believe to anybody side,
that the all powerful gentlemen upper and down
all they observe it, all they know it, all they see it,
I am a servant of both, and to
the orders of both I obey,

Of the death nobody is saved
Lady of eternal life, takes my hand and you will see,
the kindnesses of the death you will receive.

2 of November is my day, celebrate it, since to someone wanted to recall.

You'll be fine until the ghost of an English teacher berates you with spelling tests all night long for misspelling cemetery.

You will make it. I live in a very old house and sometimes things are not as they appear. I hear noises that make me stick my fingers in my ears. Just don't freak out and tell yourself its not real. Thats what i have to do sometimes. Let me know how it goes.

Good luck ... I don't think cemeteries are haunted ... I think the places where people have died are the places that are haunted. I think your mind will do more to you than the cemetery will. I'll check in tomorrow to see if you've posted your experience! Have fun!!!!
