some people's boobs hurt when they become pregnant... what part is it the aerola or the whole thing?

before I knew I was pregnant with my daughter both my breasts ached all over...they ached from the shower spray hitting them. I covered them with one arm and washed with the other...the pain was terrible!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In the early weeks of my pregnancy up untill about 9/10 weeks my boobs were really tender, the whole things not a particular part. even putting clothes or a bra on hurt!! hope this helps

For me, the whole thing, kind of like just before you get your period, only it lasted longer. And they grew!! I had to buy all new bras within 3 months I had gained an entire cup size, even though I hadn't gained any weight yet. Towards the end I started gaining lots of weight, but thank god the boobs slowed down, and I didn't have to buy any more bras.

The breast pain I experienced was like the tenderness I get before my period. With my first, though, the aerola was SOOO sensitive to anything brushing it, like when my shirt would brush it. I couldn't stand anything touching them!

Ooooh sometimes the whole thing. Even in the shower when the water hits you. Any rubbing on the areola is completely uncomfortable too.

I'm 10 weeks and my first signs was my boobs were killing me!! They still do and it's all over, mainly on the sides though, don't ask me why. Good luck, hope this helps.

the aerola is the dark or pink circle in the middle of your breast where the nipple sits

like the whole thing---(alot) and specillay the nipple mine hurt so bad even when i took a shower and the water hit them direclty it would hurt so bad
