The festival time for us is Derby - The Kentucky Derby. For up to three weeks beforehand we have events, including a HUGE fireworks display, balloon race, chow wagons (eating and music), Pegasus parade, steamboat race, parties and the races - Oaks and Derby. It's a fun time getting to the first Saturday in May, and it's great, too, because it's when the trees have awakened and flowered.

It has to be Halloween. This year I dressed up my boyfriend as a mummy for his work with bandages,spider web,spider and an eyeball and Mac black eye shadow. I always decorate my apartment for the holiday.
