What software is involved? I love the black & white photos that have just a little color added to them. I want to be able to do that.

Photoshop or Corel Photo paint will do it; you select/isolate the part you want colored, and add an overlay of your color of choice. (You can mix it, or pick from various colors available on your computer software.) In photoshop, you can use the 'magic wand' to select the part you want to color. - Photoshop is quite expensive, but I've seen a 'home' version of it for somewhat less, if you're just doing it for your own use.

Good luck!

You take the negative and add the reverse color to the film, then reexpose the negative onto photographic paper.
