Well, it's like CSI/24 Lite. There's a muder, robbery, rape, blackmail, etc. mystery to solve every episode while there's also a bigger mystery arc that spans the whole season. It's just set in high school so there are a lot of opportunities for snarky dialogue and hot teen actors and actresses.

It's also the reason why a lot of people liked Buffy the Vampire Slayer. It follows a similar trend of a kickass heroine trying to save the world (or in Veronica's case - solving the main mystery) together with her own Scooby gang. If you loved BtVS, chances are you'll also love this one.

I love that show. I think it's just out there enough. Remember how Dawson's Creek was such a big hit and yet no high schooler in the entire country spoke the way the kids on that show did? I think this is sort of the same. Kids acting and talking like adults. A cute little blonde with just the right amount of wit and sass. Also with brains and intellect. Crimes, drama, humor - Elliot from "Just Shoot Me." The show has it all! What's not to like?
