I've had this problem for years now! Its nice to know its not just our community. However, all the area alternatives are running from 6 to 8 or 9, so I am figuring that those are the best times to go too. Good luck!

There is no set time for trick or treating. Best to do it once it gets dark. After dinner is best, so they won't eat too much candy. Lol. Try 6:30 or so.

It should be easy this year with daylight savings...the sun goes down about 6:45...that's a good time for younger kinds. Then they've already eaten dinner, and you'll be back in time to let them eat some candy before their bed time. Have fun!

I called the local township building, they always know or the police department. You could also go online and type in your township and it will give you a listing of your local important numbers.
