Stuck in a game....?

I'm playing Morrowwind for X-box, and I keep getting double teamed by two beasties, one flying, one on the ground, any ideas on how to beat that particular challange?

If you're using a Nord, or a mage use a shield spell, or get a unique crafted for you,
then kill, kill, kill!

dont know but my advice find a walkthrough and get hints on the game when it gets to hard levels. always helps me.
