Yes -- that is why I got mine cut and tied

I have not experienced this but my best friend did. She became pregnant 5 years after her last baby was born and her tubes were tied. When she went to the dr they told her that when you get your tubes tied at the time of delivery they only guarantee them for 5 years. If you wait six weeks after then that is another story. She had what they called a "natural abortion" so it all worked out but yes it can happen.

I don't believe so. I had my tubes tied back in 1991 and never have had a problem with the tubes becoming loose.

If a long segment was removed as well as ligation it is unlikely. I have seen surgeons just pull up a loop of tube and tie it. This can come undone.

Yes, they can grow back together. But it is unlikely. If you think they have, then your Dr. can do an ultrasound and see if they're still clamped, or if they've grown together.

Depends on whether it was a square knot or not. If you suspect the knot is loosening see a boy scout immediately!
