Halloween parties and celebrations do not bother me. I guess it all boils down to your beliefs. Some think Halloween is ok and others don't. Some believe it is pure evil . Sometimes I'm on the fence when it comes to Halloween. I like it but I usually don't do alot of celebrating. I had fun in elementary school and halloween was alot of fun in school and still is fun for children. and they deserve to have fun it's part of growing up.

In alabama you really don't see too many people having a problem with Halloween. If the religious people do ( which i am a christian), they usually just tell their kids that is just make-believe and it makes it less scarier for the younger ones. But if someone doesn't want to "teach" halloween, isn't the same as someone not celebrating christmas be/c they are jewish or raising a fuss when someone wishes them " Merry Christmas"? Why do we all have to believe what society wants us? Seriously, the majority isn't always right.

Halloween isn't the Devils day. initially it replaced into called Samhain, the Celtic New year. frequently pronounced as The Day of the lifeless it replaced into believed that this international and the subsequent have been very close on that day and persons might have fun their ancestors and go away nutrition for wandering spirits on the roadside. It replaced right into a time of magic and this has filtered down into present day way of life as ghosts, witches etc. Being a Pagan pageant it had no longer something in any respect to do with the devil, as this is a Christian element. The call of Halloween is derived from All Hallows Eve which precedes All Saints day - a Christian pageant. Christmas too is initially Pagan - called xmas. The Romans celebrated their own version right this moment - Saturnalia. So neither pageant is Christian in any respect. in case you do unlike Samhain then this is okay, it is your determination. i like it nonetheless. by skill of how, Easter replaced right into a Pagan pageant too and can Day replaced into Beltane, so this is incredibly helpful to evade those besides.

It doesn't bother me for children to celebrate it at all. But I don't have children so I see no point in participating.

Because the so called "christians" are too busy preparing for the other BIG PAGAN RITUAL...namely Chirstmas! Let's all go out and buy presents we can't afford and celebrate Jesus' birthday on the wrong day with a big pagan tree! Godloveya.

the problem with halloween is there a lot of bad seeds out there, they will poison candy ect.....When I was younger my parents gave me money instead of going trick or treating and I prefer that instead of going trick or treating. It would't bother me if my kids did halloween stuff at school, but I would't want them taking them trick or treating out in the public....most school aren't doing trick or treating due to the school rules,my schools you could't have parties ect.....

Because you need to read what is the meaning of Halloween and then teach to your children... I see you go with the flow of this world, I do not... I respect everybody's opinion...
