I have a 3 month old and we give her 6 ozs 6 times a day. But that is not necessarily what yours needs. Around four months they should go down to five feeds a day.

I highly recommend you read The Baby Whisperer by Tracy Hogg.

A lot depends on how often your child is hungry. My daughter is 5 months and a little piglet. At 3-4 months she was drinking 6 ounce bottles every three to four hours because she was always hungry. If your child only sleeps for an hour tops and wakes up hungry I would give them 6 ounces, but if they sleep for a while, I would then stick to 4-5 ounces. I hope this helps!

My baby is 4 mnths old and he is eating 8 oz bottles and has been for the past month and a bit. The doc told me that it is juss the size of the baby and how many times they are feeding, and if they are sleeping through the night or not. My doc said as long as they are eating more then 4 oz bottles then he is Ok. Also at 4 mnths you can start feeding him/her Stage 1 cereal along with the formula.

Depends on the baby. My son is 5 months old and still only takes 4ozs at each feeding and eats every 2 hours. My friend has a 5 month old who eats 8ozs every 3 hours.

Your baby will let you know when they are hungry. If they seem to not get full on the amount you give them now then add another oz.

It just depends on how often they eat and stuff. My sister's 3 and a halef months old, and drinks about 6 or 6 and a half ounces every hour.

My son is 4 months and we started supplementing him (according to his pediatrician's advice) with rice cereal at 2 months. His eating habits keep changing depending on his growth spurts and he goes through anywhere from a 4 ounce bottle (approximately 5 with cereal) to an 8 ounce (10 with cereal) three times a day. He's doing well (25.5 inches and 17.10 pounds), happy, not fussy and sleeping through the night.

My girls are now 4 1/2 months old and they are now taking about 5-6 oz so I would guess maybe a little less than that.. However when they hit a growth spurt then they will eat more... So it all really depends
