Kobe is my favorite as well. I think if he stays healthy and if the Lakers make the playoffs, he has a good chance of winning MVP. It will be hard though against Steve Nash, Tim Duncan, and LeBron James. I think it will be between those four.

i'm definitely sure that he will not win that.. to be a mvp, not only need to score a lot.. but the most important is the contribution to bring success to the team...'n i don't see it on kobe last season...
he is just too selfish...'n also with these season controversion that he change his jersey no just to take more money... coz all of his fans need to buy a new one jersey with #24... he also will have a big challenge from another player like from the last year mvp steve nash, lebron james, dwayne wade, etc...

Kobe will always be Kobe. A ballaholic that does not know what a "team" is. I dont see MVP unless he actually takes that team to a championship game.

If he stays healthy. I don't think his surgery was major so I don't know why everyone acts like he tore something. And 28 is hardly old. Jordan won his last 3 rings at 33,34, and 35. He was 33 when the Bulls compiled their best record ever. Kobe is 5 years away from being 33!

No, he's no Jordan. He's had enough time to be a MVP, but he just hasn't gotten it done yet. So, it won't happen.....sorry.
