i have the v3 razor but it's locked with t mobile. I'm selling it to someone with cingular and they need the code to unlock it to be used for any company.

T-Mobile will unlock it for you as long as you have had your account for at least 90 days and you have not had any non pay suspensions for the last 6 months. Just call and tell them you need a SIM subsidy unlock code. They'll submit a request for you and you'll get the code and instructions on how to unlock it within 72 hours (usually) via email.

They all have individual codes. You should go to one of those moms and pops stores where they sell t-mobil, cingular adn other mobile wireless stuff. They should be able to unlock it for you for like $5-$10.

Call T-Mobile Customer Service, Tell them you need the PUK Code to unlock your phone. They will give it to you.

you should better try to call to networkd provider to get unlock code. you're contract customer so they'll give you unlock verry easy
if you can't got unlock code form them , you should buy unlock code for it, cost about 3-4$ for unlock motorola v3

tell t-mobile that you dont want to stop useing them, but that you are going out of the country for awhile and you want to use your phone there and that when you get back you'll continue your contract with them. if they say no. tell that the freind your going with got it done with t-mobile.
(they should do it for free!!!)

THEY WILL HAVE TO GO TO A CINGULAR STORE THEY CHARGE 32.00 DOLLARS TO UNLOCK IT.
