A week ago I couldn't put my contacts in because it felt like there was something in my eye when I did. Day by day it got worse. I went to the doctor on my campus and she didn't know what was wrong but she prescribed antibiotic eyedrops. The next day (before I started putting eyedrops in) there was a hard white bump inside my upper eyelid. It doesn't hurt and it not tender. Once in awhile it feels like there's something inside. Yesterday I looked at it again and now there's a red scratch on it. I looked all over the internet and couldn't find anything. It doesn't hurt but my contacts are my only current prescription and I can't see the board in my classes. Can anybody help?

For the record, I've had a stye before and I know they usually occur on the edge of the eyelid and are often red and tender. Mine is none of these things.
