first off, what are you washing your face with? try something really mild; Dove and Cetaphil are great products and recommended by dermatogists....you can find the store brands of Cetaphil in most major drugstores, right next to the Cetaphil on the shelf!!!!!! ingredients are identical, just a lower cost for the store brand....something to think about....also NEVER USE extremes of water temperature on your face and neck NO cold water NO hot water, just a nice lukewarm......wash your hands before you wash your face.......use your hands to wash face & neck then rinse rinse rinse....blot dry and use moisturizer...any good moderately-priced one is fine....dont waste your money on a $50 jar or moisturizer!!!!!!!!!!! aim for the $5 to $10 range, and read the ingredients; try to stay away from mineral oil if you can, and petrolatum for sure(Thats the generic name for Vaseline!!)....be more aware of what you put on your face!! also at least once a week, use baking soda as a facial scrub; again save your bucks and dont fall for the commerical exfoliants...they all do the same thing as baking soda.(think of the money you'll save!!!).......put some in the palm of your hand, add a few drops of water at a time until it forms a light paste, then GENTLY, using circular motions, massage over your face; start with the forhead, thenaround the eyes, (GENTLY) then nose, and all over the face..do this at least 3 times then rinse rinse rinse with running water and last rinse can be SLIGHTLY cooler; blot dry and apply your moisturizer....all over if you tend to have dry skin; if combination, just eyes, around mouth lines, and the neck...........again, it doesnt take a lot of bucks to take care of your skin.........spend the money on good cosmetics!!!!!! buy a good mascara, lip color, blush, etc...but again, don't go crazy..............long winded, rght? but I wanted to share my knowledge with you...good luck! email me if you want..........Thanks for listening!!!!!!!!!!!

As the ladies said above, Mary Kay has all the right solutions for what you are looking for.
Mary Kay is a premier cosmetics line, meaning it is rated above half of the deaprtment lines. It also has many ingrediates that can only be found in Mary Kay. There is a night solution from Mary Kay that has peptides in it (ask me if you need a definition) these peptides are similar to the ones found in the best department store line, but better. Because Mary Kay is the number one selling cosmetic line they have a higher demand and are actually able to buy from the same French company as the other brand, but because they buy in such quantities they get a special and better formula.
Better, the prices of Mary Kay are lower because they do not pay the department store overhead. It is a home based business. Because of this, consultants are also able to make a higher commision than any other home based cosmetics line.
The Mary Kay Miracle Set is a premium collection of age-fighting products that work together beautifully. The set utilizes the latest in skin care science to bring you the younger-looking skin you want with fewer lines and wrinkles, improved firmness, and more even skin tone.
Your consultant can let you sample the product, and any product, and in the event there is a purchase that you were unhappy about, will take it back and honor the 100% guarentee. There is in fact something for everyone within the Mary Kay line. There are the staple moisturizers and cleansers but there are also specific ones for specific needs that your consultant can tell you more about. There are actually 7 types on fountation in all different shades and so there is something depending on your skin type and your preference.
For more help you can visit the website and even call me with any questions, as my number is on there.

What you should use depends on what your skin type is, and how sensitive your skin is. In general, you should plan to exfoliate everyday, use a facial mask once a week or more, and moisturize very well morning and night. Look for products with:
Glycolic acid - helps to increase cell turnover.
Hyaluronic acid - draws more moisture to the skin.
Collagen and elastin - helps to replace these in the skin cells (our bodies produce less of these compounds as we age) to increase plumpness and fill out fine lines.
Things that can CAUSE wrinkles:
Rough treatment of delicate skin, particularly around the eyes and mouth.
Insufficient moisture in these areas.
Smoking (proven to break down collagen and elastin production).
Insufficient nutrition.
Severe rapid weight loss or chronic skinniness (body doesn't have enough fat to fill out the areas).

I am an MD. The two very best things you can do is to a)don't go out in the sun unless your shadow is taller than you are, and NEVER set foot inside a tanning salon, and b) don't come any closer than 30 feet to anything made of tobacco. These are honest to god the two best things you can do to prevent aging of your skin. If you are not already doing these things, then begin these immediately. If you don't, then the youthful look of your skin is really not important to you, so just forget about it.
