I have three kids, 16, 13 & 12. I am only letting my 12 year old go trick or treating for her last year, because trick or treating is for "little kids"... duh!

For the older ones, I let them go to halloween parties with people their age. So they can still dress up and have fun.

I can't believe you wouldn't feel silly begging for candy at the age of 20!!

Naaah! Your too old and you will feel silly when parents come to the door and see you. Your friends might laugh at you and make jokes about you later on. If a 20 year old came to my door I would laugh at the sight and probably say "Haven't you grown up yet?" or "I bought this candy for the little kids go buy your own" It's for little kids get it?

Because Halloween IS for kids! If you want candy go buy it. Let all of those people giving out candy enjoy the little ones. You're too old. Sorry!

But that one piece of candy you get from a house is one less for a child....
You really are a little old for it, especially when you get just go buy some candy or wait till its on sale tomorrow or even later tonight.....
But if your heart is really set on it....and you dont care about that last little child that will walk up to a house and you just took the last piece of candy...then Go ahead :(
Happy Halloween !!!!!!

That is just sad. Go buy your own candy if you want some. You should be passing it out, not taking away from the little kids. I wouldn't even give candy to someone your age.

Well, you must ask yourself this. You stressed the fact that you are 20. Something told you that your age should lead you to your answer. As for you WANTING candy. Is this the only way you can get some candy?

You're too old. If you came to my door I'd tell you so. Find a place where those your own age can go and hang out. The local Y's, rec centers, the mall. Leave the trick or treating for the younger ones.

20 is too old to go trick or treating, unless you can take a kid with you. Age 4-13

Get dressed up and go to Walmart tonight and buy what you want... better yet, it will be on sale tomorrow... Half price is good!
Sometimes its good to still be like a kid at heart, but unless you are toting around a bunch of toddlers you will get some negativity!

Sorry, but I find it a little annoying to have teenagers and older come by trick or treating. The day is supposed to be for little kids.
