I usually and always have a five day period. This time my period went for 8 days but the last three days of it it would fil up a tampon with dark old blood then throughout the day it would be light fresh pink. During my period I was very nauseated, and everytime I ate I would feel like I had to throw up. I have been getting migranes and wanting to sleep all the time. My period ended a week ago and I'm still experiencing slight cramping and nausea. I have been feeling some pressure in my abdomanl area. And I have also been sleeping an aweful lot. I took a test yesterday but it showed negative. Should I take a blood pregnancy test? Also I have these moods ever now and again like I want to cry for no reason then I'm fine. I'm very sensitive. Are these signs of early pregnancy even if I had my irregular period?

You should take a pregnancy blood test ! dont wait go do a check up but it also depends of when was the last time you had sex you know it takes 5 min for sperm to enter and start developing and it takes 2 weeks to a 3 weeks to know if your pregnant but for better faster results got 2 the doctor.

Go to the doctor and find out doesnt sound like pregnancy but if this period was late it might have been a miscarriage so go to your doctor and ask them for a test blood or urine let them decide whats best good luck

it's hard to say, but it's possible that you had a miscarriage!! Some women do have bleeding while they're pregnant and others continue to have their cycle!! It wouldn't hurt to take a test, but I would consult with my doctor to get a second opinion!

No, if you are having your period, then you are not pregnant. Maybe a previous period was light and you are sluffing off some older build-up from that previous period.

It doesn't really sound like pregnancy. It sounds like you should see the doc to find out what happened though. Good luck.
